If we were sitting down across a pile of laundry cup of tea, I would want to know your story, from where you grew up to what brings you joy to what’s troubling you right this minute. Deep, meaningful conversations are my jam. But since this isn’t a coffee shop (or my laundry room), I guess I’ll go first. Here’s 5 things you may want to know about me:

One, I have a Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and have been working with adults, children, couples, and families for over 10 years. I have a passion for helping families enjoy healthy, loving relationships – and go from survive to thrive mode!

Two, I. AM. PASSIONATE. about being a wife and mom. Borderline obsessive. Along with my Christian faith, those two descriptives represent my deepest joys and highest callings. In addition to encouraging resilient family relationships – my own and others, I love talking about home hacks, organization tips, and self-care strategies for the overwhelmed mama. Because if mama ain’t happy, well, you know…

Third, I am a certified Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator, offering workshops for expecting and new parents. I’m trained to provide premarital counseling through the Prepare/Enrich program, and offer therapy on a very limited basis. I find myself on stage from time to time, so feel free to contact me if you need a speaker for your next event.

Four, never challenge me to a sweet tooth showdown. Never. I will send you home, crying with a bellyache while I order another round of fudge a ’la mode. It’s not pretty and I’m not proud, but we can’t always choose what we’re good at.

Five, my husband once spent an entire summer teaching me how to catch and throw a baseball. I can currently do neither well.
